Aaron Carlton has been passionate about the automotive industry and diesel engines in particular, since he was a young lad. After completing his apprenticeship with Caterpillar, Aaron started working for himself under the ATOC Auto name in 1988.

Over the past 21 years Aaron has specialised in servicing and modifying the large range of Japanese and Korean manufactured 4WDs, both soft roaders and the serious off-roaders. Aaron covers everything from a pre-purchase check to a pre-trip service, from Genuine Book Servicing to building up an awesome touring rig into a tough comp truck. All with a work ethic of “ Do the job right the first time and don’t skimp on servicing, look after your car and it will look after you!”

Understanding servicing and modifying vehicles is one thing. Understanding Aaron’s background provides an insight into what sets him apart from other diesel and 4WD specialists. Aaron is a CFA volunteer with his local brigade in Belgrave South. This role sees Aaron spending time looking after people, property and the bush. Aaron has also been competing in 4WD events since he could drive and has an impressive list of credits to his name. From this tough scene Aaron has worked out what works and what doesn’t both for comps and for touring, as any touring product or modification that can handle extreme off-road action will go the distance anywhere in Oz.
